The fourth and last survey campaign of the study conducted since November 2020 by Céline Cholez (Pacte/UGA) was relayed this two summer months directly by the "TousAntiCovid" application. 11500 responses were collected, much more than the previous campaigns. The study has completed its information gathering phase and will now enter the analysis phase. Funding from the ANR supported this initiative un June.

Santosh Yadav, doctoral student at CDP RISK, is working on 1/2 scale tests of seismic resistance of buildings to help the Nepal reconstruction after the last earthquake. As his Grenoble laboratory burned down in a fire in 2020 winter, his tests have been carried out last november on the vibrating table at the FCBA in Bordeaux.

In mountain torrent streams, check dams are largely used to reduce sediment production. Seismic risk has always been present on earth. Man had to deal with and be in a constant search for improving the seismic resistance of his habitat. Empirically, through observation, builders have developed various efficient techniques to ensure the dissipation of energy on particular elements of its habitat, locating the damage in specific areas that do not endanger its occupants. The seismic bands are one of its constructive intelligences developed in traditional masonry.

- Beirut Explosions: a survey to record the behaviors of individuals following the August 4 explosions in Lebanon

Following the explosions of August 4, 2020 in Beirut (Lebanon), researchers from the PACTE, LIG and ISTERRE laboratories of CDP RISK-University Grenoble Alpes and Lebanese researchers gathered within the Lebanese French-Lebanese Environmental Observatory O-Life, have worked together to launch an online survey among the people who felt the explosions in the port of the Lebanese capital.This study aims at better understanding the behaviors, movements and mobility of people during disasters. Responses are anonymous and contribute to a statistical analysis.
