Scientific perspectives in the field of risks: Allenvi's propositions

Abstract

Allenvi, the national research alliance for the environment, aims to federate, program and coordinate French environmental research to meet the major societal challenges of food, water, climate and territories. One Allenvi’s thematic group is devoted to risks and published in 2013 a document summarizing its reflections on scientific perspectives in the field of risks, which addresses the essential concepts that specify and structure this vast field, then proposes research axes. These challenges require clearly even greater integration of disciplines, including the humanities and social sciences. Didier Richard will bring these perspectives to the debate.
