Debbie Gonzalez Canada is a PhD student with the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences | Faculty of Science, at the University of Melbourne (Australia). Together with her supervisors, Dr Stephanie Lavau and Dr Kath Williams, she investigates how digitalization is re-shaping participation in biodiversity citizen science. Drawing on STS and feminist STS literature, Debbie is interested in the cross-over between technology, environment, and communities, focusing on knowledge and caring practices.
