To accompany the meeting of its Scientific Advisory Board, the Risk Institute is offering two scientific days on the Grenoble Saint Martin-d'Hères Campus. The aim is to present current research on the subject in Grenoble, and to open up the debate with presentations of the work of members of the Scientific Advisory Board. These days are free and open to all upon registration.

Grenoble Institute Risk & Resilience (UGA) at the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Bali, May 2022

The 7th session of the Global Platform (GP22) for Disaster Risk Reduction was held in Bali, Indonesia, from 23 to 27 May with 3,000 delegates from all over the world and another 3,000 attending remotely. The scientific community Risk@UGA was represented by Philippe Garnier, architect and researcher at ENSA Grenoble (AE&CC-CRAterre), & member of the Grenoble Institute Risk & Resilience project (Université Grenoble Alpes).

60th Esreda seminar - ADVANCES IN MODELLING TO IMPROVE NETWORK RESILIENCE

Supported by a Risk@UGA organizing committee, the 60th ESReDA Advances in Modelling to Improve Network Resilience seminar will take place at GreEN-ER in Grenoble on May 4-5, 2022. This forum will explore issues related to engineering resilience to various threats such as aging infrastructure failures, natural disasters and climate change, intentional attacks (cybersecurity and terrorism), and emerging threats faced by various industries, critical infrastructures, and cities.
